SigNature Communities, Berkshire Axis Development and Andiel Homes is developing and creating a new condo project, East United. It will be located at 93-95 Berkley Street and 112-124 Parliament Street downtown Toronto. This unique project will draw together the diversified characteristics of the Distillery and Design District and St. Lawrence Market neighbourhoods by connecting new, industrial and heritage aspects within a five storey tower as well as six Townhouses. The development's projected completion date is 2018.

Suites will range in size from 350 to 1,400 sq.ft. Among the 279 suites, there will mainly be one and two bedroom units but there will be approximately thirty three bedroom suites and six three and four bedroom townhouse units. The interiors will be designed by the Design Agency. The interiors will reflect the minimalist, rustic and whimsical flavours of the Design District

The site will be L-shaped, extending from Berkley to Parliament along King street. It will be joined by a pedestrian lane on the building's south side. This project will be geared towards young professionals and families seeking a downtown feel without the busy atmospere of the
Yonge Street-University Avenue corridor.

Building amenities also by the Design Agency will include a yoga and meditation lounge, an artist's studio, a rooftop patio highlighting an outdoor theatre, a private Dining room and an event space with a jam room.

SigNature Communities is committed to sustainable building standards will be represented in East United's LED lighting, (VOC) - low volatile organic compound emitting paint and motion sensors.
